Engagez-vous, rengagez-vous, qu'ils disaient...

Register early and make your vote count
The AIIC Assembly is just around the corner. Here are a few important tips to speed things up at Valencia and avoid long queues at the Registration Desk.

If you're planning to attend

If you're going to attend, please register as soon as possible at https://members.aiic.net/meetings as we need to know how many colleagues will be present to optimise the room cabling and layout.
Practical information will be emailed ahead of time to registered participants only.
Proxy voting
Under Assembly rules, Active Members in attendance may represent either 9 ( if they are based in Europe ) or 24 fellow Active Members.
As a registered participant, you can solicit proxies online now at https://members.aiic.net/meetings/my-proxies
The colleagues you're seeking to represent will be notified by email and invited to confirm the proxy online.

If you're NOT planning to attend

If you're not going to attend and are not yet represented, you may choose to appoint as your representative any Active Member who's already registered:
  1. Confirm that you will not attend the Assembly
  2. Then, browse the attendance list and appoint as your proxy someone you trust.
The colleague you're appointing as your representative will be notified by email.
Paper proxies — proxies by email
Electronic proxies are the preferred method. Proxies on paper or by email take much longer to process and should be the exception.
Paper proxies or proxies sent by email will only be accepted by the AIIC Registration Desk at Valencia if the conditions below are met:
  • Paper proxies must always include the names — per the AIIC directory — of the proxy and the principal and be dated and signed by the principal. Do make sure to use the proxy form published on page 159 of the AIIC Assembly Bulletin that you will receive by postal mail in the next few days.
  • Proxies by email will only be deemed valid if they are sent by the principal from his or her registered email address directly to AIIC Headquarters at info@aiic.net. Forwarded emails will not be accepted. Principals should make sure to include all relevant information per the proxy form published  on page 159 of the AIIC Assembly Bulletin that you will receive by postal mail in the next few days
